The B-flute is a type of flute from the fine flute category. Like all corrugated cardboard, it consists of a stable composite of two smooth outer layers (liners) and a corrugated paper layer (flute) in the middle. The corrugation height and corrugation pitch are decisive for the properties: For B-flute, typical values are 2.2–3.1 mm corrugation height and 4.8–6.5 mm corrugation pitch.

E-flute

The E-flute is a type of flute from the category of microflutes and consists of two smooth outer layers (liners) and a corrugated paper layer (flute) in the middle. The corrugation height and corrugation pitch are decisive for the properties of E-flute. Typical values for E-flute are 1.0–1.9 mm for the corrugation height and 2.6–3.5 mm for the corrugation pitch.

EB-flute

EB flute is a double-flute corrugated board consisting of a combination of E-flute and B-flute. Like all corrugated board, it is made up of smooth outer liners and corrugated paper layers – in the case of EB flute, there are typically two flute layers with an intermediate layer in between (making a total of three outer and intermediate layers).
